Cops for Cancer

On May 5th, 2017 the Cops for Cancer/Pedal for Hope team will be coming to Fenelon Township Public School.  Cops for Cancer was created from the idea of one man and has grown into an inspirational force engaging police officers and other emergency services and their communities in the fight against cancer. Since it began in 1994, Cops for Cancer has raised more than $50.4 million.

 

On Wednesday’s, during the month of April, our school will be holding fundraiser days.

 

Wednesday, April 5: Freezie sales $1

Wednesday, April 12: Cupcakes for Cancer $1

Wednesday, April 19: Hat Day (donation will give you a ticket to wear your hat)

Week of April 24-28: Teacher Bucket Competition (Students can place their change in the bucket of the teacher they would like to receive a pie in the face)

Wednesday, May 3: Freezie sale $1

 

*If your child is interested in shaving their head or donating at least 8 inches of hair, on the day of the event, please contact Ms. McNab at school.  We have pledge sheets that can be sent home for you.

 

All are welcome on the day of the event.  The time has not yet been finalized.  More information to come.
