 Shopping for Books

By Natalie, Phil, Skyler, and Cassidy

We won the Love of Reading competition and every year children from each class get to go to Chapters on a buyingIMG_0445 spree. Each class got between $300 to $500 dollars to spend. We spent $476 on fiction and non-fiction books for boys and girls. It was difficult to make choices.

We all shopped in small groups to help each other to find the right books.

At lunch we had to eat on the bus because there were too many customers.

We saw lots of beautiful pop-up books, educational games and toys. We had to buy what our DSCN8535class would enjoy reading also. We bought a whole bunch of books that our class would enjoy.

Chapters is huge and beautiful, with great painting and displays. The people who work there were kind and helpful. We hope to go to Chapters again.
