Hydro One was here this month to speak with two of our classes about Arbour Day. It was a celebration of trees to ensure for a greener future. Representatives from Hydro One were able to explain their role in our community and how they use various types of their specialized equipment. Outside, students were able to see how a bucket truck worked and were also given opportunity to help plant two maple trees. We are grateful for the generous donation of the trees to our school. Thanks to Hydro One students will enjoy the trees on our schoolyard for years to come. Students were also given a White Spruce seedling to plant at home.
